Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy is a multidisciplinary outpatient private practice in need of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist . We are a growing and fast-paced campus that offers Physical, Occupational, and Speech therapy services in a traditional clinical setting, as well as on our ranch, with the incorporation of the horse as part of a comprehensive evidence-based plan (hippotherapy.) SLP Job Duties include:

A Speech Language Pathologist-Pediatrics delivers excellent family-centered patient care, that aims to support functional goals and needs of the patient and their family. SLPs perform assessments and interpretation of evaluations and test results; determines speech therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription, and carries out a treatment plan that supports functional improvement across the lifespan.
  • Provide quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results; determining speech therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
  • Help patient accomplish goals outlined in treatment plan and effective use of therapeutic devices and strategies.
  • Complete discharge planning by consulting with physicians, nurses, social workers, and other health care workers; contributing to patient care conferences.
  • Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records, according to the law.
  • Maintain patient confidence and protects clinic operations by keeping information confidential, according to the law.
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to infection-control policies and protocols.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
  • Develop speech therapy staff by providing information; developing and conducting in-service training programs.
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal and professional requirements by studying existing and new legislation; anticipating future legislation; enforcing adherence to requirements; advising management on needed actions.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Participate effectively as a member of the IEP team, but providing these services as part of a comprehensive education plan and in accordance with the written IEP, as needed.
Compensation Range Based on Experience: $83,000 - $128,000
